[ Perhaps you've been exploring, perhaps you've been chilling in your dorm, or trying to make sense of what's going on with everyone else around you. Regardless, at one point, no matter where you are, you may have noticed a growing shimmer in the air. It deepended, brightened; focusing on it left spots in your eyes.
And then, within seconds, there was a flash of pure light, before it all flickered out, leaving you in complete, absolute darkness. For a moment, the darkness piles on you, like dirt shoveled on a grave; and a few seconds later? You fell unconscious, completely knocked out.
When you wake up, you feel deathly cold, and the light is slow to return to your eyes. But when you find yourself fully awake gain, you find the lights are back and, yourself in a new dorm-- or perhaps it's the same one you woke up in days ago? There certainly are some changes regardless. In the common room, there's now what appears to be a peculiar staircase, leading to further rooms underground (note: in addition to the usual 6 on the main floor, there will always be enough rooms for each new teammate underground). The stairs continue further past the final room, however; they continue a long way down into the darkness, as though tempting you . . .
Should you try to open the door and go outside of your dorm, you'll notice that you're locked in. Looks like it's time to wait again-- what an excellent time to bond with your new teammates! ]
(( Event for IC team sorting/new teams! How to get started and Characters list sorted by team. Newbies will find themselves in their new, team-colored uniforms; no more rainbows for you guys! If you absolutely want to bring in a character that's not in this list yet, ping Ling and she will ninja sort you quickly-- same goes for last minute team changes in case you have a strong preference for one team over another.
